On May 18, 2011, Cotaco School (where Alex goes) had a “Team Alex Walk-a-Thon” to honor Alex and bring awareness to Childhood Cancer. During the closing ceremony, the entire school did a Flash Mob Dance in Alex’s honor. They are all wearing “Team Alex” shirts and bracelets. It was AMAZING to watch. I apologize for the quality of the video (I’m not the best videographer). Thank you all for making this awesome event happen!!!

Oxfam Trailtrekker is a team challenge that takes place in 100km of beautiful scenery
across the Yorkshire Dales National Park. Starting and finishing in Skipton.

Stripped down to its bare bones it is, quite literally, a people powered event for people.
It’s about teamwork, training, testing your determination and endurance. At its very
heart it is about raising funds to help people worldwide to work their way out
of poverty.

Last year 166 teams took part in this challenge. The average time taken to finish the
course was 28 hours. Think you can beat that?
