Jimmy Fund walkers explain who they Walk for in this 7 News/WHDH TV commercial.
The Boston Marathon® Jimmy Fund Walk is the largest participatory event benefiting the Jimmy Fund and Dana-Farber Cancer Institute. It is the only event, other than the Boston Marathon® itself, sanctioned to travel along the famed 26.2-mile route from Hopkinton, Mass., to Boston. Since its inauguration in 1989, the Walk has raised more than $60 million for research and care to support patients with all forms of cancer. In 2009, the event drew more than 7,700 walkers hailing from 34 states and 5 countries. We are looking forward to walking with you and making 2010 a stellar year.

JURASSIC Park came to a quiet corner of Morrisons own car park when a giant T-Rex greeted shoppers this week.
The 13-foot high and 30-foot long dinosaur is on a 1000 mile trip following famous fundraiser Lloyd Scott MBE as he walks from Lands End to John OGroats to raise £500,000 for Teenage Cancer Trust a charity close to his heart after battling leukaemia 20 years ago.
Scott is famed for running the London Marathon in 2002 donning a deep sea diving suit, and traveling 2,700 miles across Australia on a penny farthing amongst other fundraising activities.
The 48 year old is now heading northwards dressed as the dinosaur hunter and hopes to walk the length of the land in 70 days. On August 3 he made his way from Exeter to Tiverton.
