this was a show for the toys for tots charity ..Bark in the Park 2011
Butterwick House Children’s Hospice held a fantastic event in May 2011, called Bark in the Park, where more than 120 pooches and their owners tooks to Preston Park’s woodland for a 3 mile walk in aid of the hospice.

Each year we attend the sponsored dog walk in aid of GAR in Trent Park, Hertfordshire, it’s a wonderful event and despite the rain this year there was a great turn out and everyone enjoyed themselves, especially the dogs

Celebrities & Pups Walk The Runway For Charity In New Yorkie Fashions
The hottest new event in NYC during Fashion Week and the Westminster Dog Show was the Big City Little Dog Fashion Show at the legendary New Yorker Hotel this past February. The pup-arazzi was kept busy as celebrities and their pups walked the red carpet, posed for pics at the BCLD cocktail gala and walked the runway in doggie designer apparel by New Yorkie.
The doggie fashion show was emceed by the 22 year voice of Westminster, David Frei and BCLD founder and New Yorkie creator. Elly McGuire. Bravo TV was also there filming for their new reality TV show, MIllion Dollar Listing NYC.
Oscar winner and Broadway legend, Celeste Holm, her rescue pup, Barker and husband, Frank Basile were the first to walk down the runway.
KIcking off the show, NYC Opera star, Frank Basile brought down the doghouse with his rendition of The National Anthem. ABC News Meteorologist Ron Trotta, along with Schmitty The Weather Dog kept the applause going when they pawcast from the runway that no snow was predicted for the Westminster Dog Show.

NBC host of Talk Stoop, Cat Greenleaf and her dachshund, Julio, Top Chef Nikki Cascone and her Italian Greyhounds, Lucy & Guiseppe, Million Dollar Matchmaker’s, Cindy Guyer and chihuahuas Gene Simmons & Rosie, CBS radio personality, Karen Berk, former NFL star, Mitch Marrow & his not so small bull mastiff, Butkis, Doggie Moms Karen Biehl & her celebrity pup, Eli, Million Dollar Listing NYC real estate star, Jessica Cohen & yorkie, Ellie . . . to name a few.
The well dressed and well behaved 2-legged and 4-legged audience members also had a chance to be chosen to walk the runway. Judging by the applause and standing ovation, a pawsome time was had by all to benefit Angel On A Leash, a charity that trains therapy dogs and creates therapy dog programs across the country.

BC Guide Dogs Blindfolded Walk
A woman walks blindfolded with the help of a BC Guide Dog. A Guide Dog Mobility Instructor, who trains guide dogs, accompanies the pair, but allows the dog do do the guiding. This was filmed during a fundraiser benefitting BC Guide Dog Services hosted by Cole International near Vancouver International Airport.
