    Wow!! What a …
Wow!! What a coincidence. I am-was a special ed teacher as well. I am extremely passionate about my job. I love what I do. I stopped working 5 months ago. I can’t tolerate being active. I feel sick most of the time. It is very embarassing; my cognitive ability fails me often and many times I can’t talk right. I hope I come to accept this soon :) .

I have to say this …
I have to say this video made me cry. I too have MS. I too thought I would be a teacher. I too went to the university’s clinic with vision issues and was told I had an inner ear infection. I too was 24 when diagnosed. I since have left teaching only to miss it and try to work on getting back in. How do you handle it all? There are still days I forget I have it and get frustrated with my lack of memory and extra fatigue.

I saw double back in December 2003. There were two cars coming at me at the interstate. So I covered one eye with my hand. Then there was one car. The next day I could see one of everything. Thats what MS does. Comes and gos.

Please look into LYME DISEASE. Google “under our skin” or lymenet. org. It is worth looking into! I was misdiagnosed with MS and so were TOO MANY people! Just get informed, it can’t hurt :)

My mum fears she may have it, she is 40 just to point it out.

She is going to the GP tommorow so hopefully (praying) everything will be fine.

A question for someone that knows nothing about the disease. You can still live a fairly normal life?

    So Brave to see …
So Brave to see someone fighting to maintain their life and continue on their path as a teacher. There is another video on this site that had a teacher with MS dancing for his students. Teachers make the difference.
