2008 Cancer Survivors Celebration & Walk
On Sun. June 1, National Cancer Survivors Day, over 800 cancer survivors along with friends and family members gathered in Chicago’s Grant Park for the Robert H. Lurie Cancer Center of Northwestern University’s signature event – the 15th Annual Cancer Survivors’ Celebration and Walk. At least 40 of the more than 3,500 people who attended have participated in the celebration for all 15 years!
