Charity Walks/Events Near Scottsdale/Phoenix Area?

Does anyone know of upcoming charity walks or events near the Scottsdale (preferable) or Phoenix area? I need to do a project for the National Honor Society at my school and I am having trouble finding one. Please let me know if you know of any walks or events that a small group of high school students could volunteer at that would take place anytime on the weekend from now until the end of March, 2007. Thank you!

There are several volunteer opportunities through your local volunteer center. These centers specialize in connecting people with community service opportunities that match your interests and meet real community needs. I like to recommend your local Hand On Network affiliate, as they are able to provide one-time, short-term, or long-term projects for you.

Your local affiliate is called Make A Difference:

Good luck!
