when you register for a breast cancer walk do you pay anything?

No. Usually you have people you know sign a pledge slip that they will donate so much per mile you walk. They will be contacted after you complete the walk. Thank you for caring.

No, but it is all in the memory of a loved one!

I just completed a walk for breast cancer today as a survivor. This is my second walk in three years. My first walk I set a goal of collecting donations to submit to the American Cancer Society. The second walk I missed due to weakness from chemotherapy. Which made this walk special. I didn’t collect any money, I just went out and walked in support of all those who have lost and defeated the battle with cancer. They register you so that they could send you information regarding the next walk and any other upcoming events that the society has. Just walk, don’t worry. It’s a very rewarding experience I’d say.
