Walking a half marathon – need training plan?


Am walking a half marathon in approx 14 weeks. Can anybody tell me where I would be able to get a decent 'training schedule' from – books, website, etc.

The trick is to work up to it gradually, so you don't injure yourself. Also, obviously, before you begin, make sure you have the proper socks, shoes, etc. Icing ankles after training never hurts either. For a schedule, see:

    walking a half marathon????why not train hard and run it????
    I am doing one also in start of july and im only up to running 7 miles at the moment but i have a lot of training to put in between now and then. Anyone can walk it, its not that hard to walk 13.2 miles if your healthy.
