What can I do to raise money for the Making Strides Against Breast Cancer Walk?
I'm looking for fundraising ideas to raise money for the American Cancer Society by way of the Making Strides walk in Central Park. I have thought of the usual things like bake sales – but how do I go about holding one? Tips for that and any other ideas are greatly appreciated! Here is my link in case you would like to donate: http://main.acsevents.org/site/TR?px=1537952&pg=personal&fr_id=2159&s_tafId=4747
Every little bit helps!

The easiest way is to ask family and friends. When my twin sister
was diagnoised with breast cancer we made pink ribbions and sold them for a dollar. We then used the money to help her and we also ran the breast run.

Good for you hon! I am a part of a relay for life team and a couple of years I designed t-shirts and we sold them…also yard sales and car washes are good ideas too. You could also have a raffle of donated items and or services. The head of our team is a hairdresser and one of the items we raffled was a mini make over with hair nails the works! Hope that helps!

There’s a lot of ways you can make fundraise online if you’re looking to raise money for a charity. I help out the American Cancer Society through the toolbar I downloaded from http://www.give2network.com. It’s really easy because it let’s all searching and shopping from the toolbar donate money to your cause. It’s pretty cool too because I surf online anyways, so it makes sense to just help out ACS while I’m at it
