HW question very difficult math algebra 2?

this question is so easy yet hard, i know how to do it but it doest look right.

you are taking part in a charity walk a thon where u can either walk or run. you walk at four kilometers per hour and run at 8 kilometers per hour. the walkathon last 3 hours. money is raised based on the total distance you t ravel in the three hours. ur sponsors donate 15 dollars for every kilometer u travel. write an expression that gives the total amount of money u raise. evaluate the expression if u walk for two hours and run for one

OHH MYH AND!!

15[2(4) + 1(8)]

15(16)

$240

    total time you have is 3 hours.

    Money = 15 $/km * D = 15 * (8 kmph * (t) + 4 kmph * (3-t))
    where t is time used in running and (3-t) is time used for walking.

    Money = 15 *[(2 hr * 4 km/hr) + (1 hr * 8 km/hr)]
    = 15 * 16
    = 240 $

    This is more of a difficult algebra 1 problem than an algebra 2 problem. Let TR= time spent running at the "walkathon". Then 3-TR=time spent walking at the"walkathon". Since d= Rate*Time and Donation=$15 per kilometer, the distance traveled is DT= 8*TR + 4*(3-TR) and the money raised is 15 DT = 60*TR+180.

    4(2)+8(1)=x
    8+8=x
    16=x
    15(16)= money raised
    $240

    Use the formula Distance = speed x duration

    Let w be the walking time
    Distance walked = 4w
    and r be the running time
    Distance run = 8r
    Total distance = 4w + 8r
    (w+r) = 3 if you need to use only 1 variable.
    total distance = 4w + 8(3-w) = 24 – 4w
    Amount of money u = 15(24 – 4w) = 15 x16 = 240

    we are asked to "write an expression that gives the total amount of money u raise"
    based on the following info
    15 dollars for every kilometer u travel
    (donation rate=15USD/km)

    the walkathon lasts only 3 hours
    and your rates of travel are
    walk=4km/hr, and run=8km/hr

    let t = total time in hours you walk
    we assume that you run the rest of the time
    (i.e. no stops to rest)
    then time you run is (3 – t)

    thus total disance you travel is
    distance = walk rate * t + run rate * (3-t)

    the amount your sponsors pay will be:
    donation = $15/km * distance

    donation = $15/km * [4km/hr * t + 8km/hr * (3hr - t)],
    where t = time in hours walked

    if you walk for two hours, then t=2 hours, so evaluate:
    donation = 15*[4*2+8*1] = 15*16 = $240

    (d distance, t time, v velocity)

    velocity for walking
    v = 4km/hr

    velocity for running
    v = 8km/hr

    formula for velocity
    v = d/t

    walking
    d = vt
    d = (4km/hr)(2hr)
    d = 8km

    running
    d=vt
    d=(8km/hr)(1hr)
    d=8km

    total distance = walking + running
    total distance = 8km + 8km
    total distance = 16km

    donation = 15dollars/km

    total donation = 15dollars/km * 16km
    total donation = 240 dollars

    (8r+4w)*15=T

    r= time running (hr)
    w=time walking (hr)
    T=total money raised

    If you enter your walking and running times in minutes you will have to change the equation to:

    [(8r+4w)/60] * 15=T
