Happy Tails Day on Friday 5 October is your chance to ‘get behind a great cause’ and to raise funds for the RSPCA.
Each year the RSPCA in Australia accepts around 135,000 animals from the community and investigates more than 46,000 complaints of animal cruelty and neglect.
Now you can use your bottom to help our bottom line: buy your Happy Tails Day gear from Big W, Bendigo Bank, selected vets and pet stores selling Hill’s Pet Nutrition, Peter Alexander, Lush Fresh Handmade Cosmetics or online at www.rspca.org.au and wiggle it on Friday 5 October to show you care about protecting animals from cruelty.
Why not put your backside to work selling Happy Tails Day merchandise in your workplace or local community, or get your rear into gear and organise a special Happy Tails Day event?
You might ask your guests to bring a special spotty treat (try cupcakes with vanilla icing dotted with choc chips — yum!) for a morning tea or lunch. Or how about organising a dog walk in the local park, or bringing your pet (or its photograph) to work or your community group for show and tell?
